WHAT SHOULD WORKERS HAVE TO DO TO BE ENJOYED Maternity INSURANCE?

Maternity regime is a benefit that a pregnant female employee enjoys when she participates in social insurance for full six months or more during the 12 months before giving birth. In the following article, DHP LAW would like to send to readers and customers the procedures to enjoy maternity benefits when giving birth to female employees.

  1. Scope of application:

This procedure is applied to perform work related to the maternity insurance benefits for female employees giving birth at enterprises that have been granted social insurance unit codes.

  1. Implementation process:

Step 1 : Prepare information and documents

  1. Employers:

– Certificate of business establishment registration, business license (copy);

– Unit code;

  1. Female employees giving birth:

– Social insurance book, maternity leave start date, start work date again;

– Copy of ID card;

– Copy of health insurance card;

– A copy of the birth certificate or an extract of the birth certificate or a copy of the child’s birth certificate;

– In case of caesarean section, there is a hospital discharge paper and a table of the hospital’s surgery costs;

Step 2 : Compose your profile

  1. Profile composition:
  2. Required documents:

– Letter of introduction / or authorization letter of the enterprise for the individual to carry out the procedure (01 copy);

– List of employees participating in social insurance and health insurance (Form D02-TS issued with Decision 595/QD-BHXH) (02 copies);

– List of requests for settlement of sickness, maternity, convalescence and health rehabilitation benefits (Form 01B-HSB issued together with Decision 166/QD-BHXH 2019) (02 copies);

– Certificate of delivery and receipt of dossier 600/BHXH (taken on the website of the district social insurance agency where the enterprise is registered) (2 copies);

– Certificate of delivery of dossier 502/BHYT (taken on the website of the district social insurance agency where the business is registered) (2 copies).

  1. Attached documents:

– A valid copy of the establishment decision or Certificate of business registration or other equivalent documents of the enterprise;

– Copy of ID card;

– A copy of the health insurance card;

– The original copy of the confirmation of the cost of giving birth at the hospital;

– A copy of the child’s birth certificate or a copy of the child’s birth certificate;

  1. Check information, spelling…

Note: The final signature page should be separated from pages with information that can be edited.

Step 3 : Print the profile

  1. After the dossier is completed and there are no errors, it shall be printed in 3 sets;
  2. Send your profile to your personal email to facilitate editing and supplementing your profile at the district social insurance agency.

Step 4 : Sign the application

Just sign where a signature is required , no need to double-sign each page.

Step 5 : Carry out registration procedures at the district social insurance agency

  1. Labor reduction notice

– Online implementation at the social insurance software;

– In case the reduction is reported directly at the social insurance agency, a written explanation of the increase in paper must be attached to the social insurance agency.

  1. Submit health insurance documents to enjoy payment of hospital fees during childbirth

– Submit application directly at the district social insurance agency where the enterprise is located.

– Records include:

  • Copy of ID card;
  • Copy of health insurance card;
  • The original certificate of hospital birth expenses;
  • Delivery certificate 502/BHXH (2 copies)

– Time to receive results: After 2 working weeks, the social insurance agency will contact at the phone number listed on the delivery note to schedule a date to receive the refund of hospital fees paid by health insurance. When leaving, the employee gives birth to bring the original delivery note with the original ID card.

  1. Submit social insurance dossiers for maternity benefits

– Profile include:

  • List of requests for settlement of sickness, maternity, convalescence and health rehabilitation benefits, made according to form 01B-HSB;
  • Certificate of receipt of dossier 600/BHXH;
  • A copy of the child’s birth certificate or a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

– The enterprise prepares 1 set of documents and sends it by post to the social insurance agency of the district where the enterprise is headquartered;

– Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of complete dossiers. The district social insurance agency will send the amount of maternity insurance benefits to the bank account number according to the information provided by the employee in Form 01B-HSB. If the dossier has errors, we will receive a postal letter with updated and supplemented instructions from the district social insurance agency staff. Then, complete according to the instructions and submit to the district social insurance agency by post as the first submission.
