Accordingly, when publishing, broadcasting news, articles and programs related to children, it is compulsory to meet the following requirements:

– When reporting negative cases, breaking the law in which children are victims or related persons, it is necessary to blur or cover children’s faces and ensure confidential information of private life and personal secrets of children. children.

– When using children, children’s images as characters, and illustrations in the program to reflect on negative cases or violations of the law, then:

+ For children under 07 years old, the consent of their parents and guardians is required in accordance with the law;

+ For children aged full 07 years or older, the consent of the child and parents and guardians must be obtained as prescribed by law.

Circular 09/2017/TT-BTTT takes effect from October 1, 2017.
