Declare the bill of lading number on the customs declaration of import and export goods

Decision 1593/QQD-BTC guiding the pilot of declaring the bill of lading number on the customs declaration for export and import (import and export) goods to perform automatic monitoring of goods took effect from August 15, 2017 .

Accordingly, the customs declarant shall declare the criteria on the import-export electronic declaration according to Appendix II of Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC, the criteria for the number of bills of lading will be declared as follows:

– For import electronic customs declaration:

Criterion 1.26 – “Bill of lading number”: use the combination of “Bill of lading date + Bill of lading number” consecutively declared; input cannot contain spaces or special characters like “#, @, /, …”.

– For export electronic customs declaration:

+ Get the export goods management number for the shipment at pus.customs.gov.vn before bringing the goods into the port or at the time of registering the export declaration;

+ Use the above management number to fill in Criterion 2.24 – “Bill of lading number”.

Decision 1593/QD-BTC applies to all declarations whose export or import border is a seaport managed by Hai Phong Customs Department.

The pilot implementation period is from August 15, 2017 to the effective date of the Circular amending Circular 38.
